Any compliment dealing with my overall looks. I get complimented about my eyes all the time, so I'm used to that but when a person of the female persuasion compliments my overall appearance, it does make me blush, because it's just not as common of a compliment from a "stranger." I know there's a guy on here that hears those compliments all the time but for us commoners, it doesn't happen everyday.

For me its about respect more then what is said. When I feel like a person truly has envy for me that makes me blush. its when they have emotions packed into that compliment in a way that makes me feel. Anyone can tell us they like something about us. What makes me blush is when I can feel the compliment come from the bottom of their heart, instead of their mind

Any compliment from my husband lol or compliments from random women. The other day, a woman complimented my nose and freckles that are on it! She said it reminds her of Laura Ingalls lol. I blushed, because I'm a huge fan of Little House on the Prairie and always thought Laura was sooo pretty. I did have my hair in braids at the time too, which made it even sweeter!

@HawkPerception They can be yeah. Compliments about personality is more meaningful to me. People's looks change all the time and they're surface level traits

Some looks are genetic, yeah. But a lot of looks comes from your body type, which takes effort and discipline to maintain. There are a lot of obese people with cellulite.

Even if they compliment your looks like your eyes or your face, it doesn't make it disingenuous. Those are still factors in your overall attraction. To dismiss them entirely just because they're about a physical attribute is crazy. Then physical attraction isn't a thing at all. People would date people even if they had a face that looks like a frog.

And when someone meets you the first time, they can't say much about your personality. The first thing they notice which captures their attention is your looks.

All of them are nice. But the one that made my body twitch was when I overheard this cutie, stud, gentleman of a guy talking to someone the phone about me at work.

He said, "I would love to wake up in the morning and look into her eyes."
