I can think of things people said that were socially clueless, but not a exactly a compliment. I've been told I'm extremely short or very short (I'm 5' 3"), which might be similar to a guy being very tall and having it commented on all the time.

I mean, maybe don't state the obvious? Like, should I just start telling people they are fat in return? Or ugly? Or have a mole on their face? :P Since when did making observations about a person's body (that aren't necessarily complimentary) become socially acceptable? Really? :D

1) I was dressed up for an event and my friend told me "You look really good", then he quickly walked away to the back yard and he must of said something to him because then my sisters husband looked around the corner at me and went back 😂 I felt awkward at the time but now thinking back it was kind of funny.

2) This girl I used to work with, I thought she was really pretty and had a girly style, then one day she showed up at work with half her head shaved, she asked me how it looked and I seriously thought she ruined herself but I said "It looks nice" but I'm pretty sure they could tell on my face when I seen it, that I didn't like it lol.

I once told my ex that my cousin (whom i see as my sister) and I were mistaken for twins a lot as kids, but after growing up we look different. And he said yeah I got lucky with the pretty one! Dumped his ass, bros before hoes every time 😂

One time I complimented my husband for not farting till we left the store. Awkward for the people i didn't see right behind us, but that's the only awkward compliment I think I've given 😂😂😂
