If you’re direct with guys you like you really have an advantage over other women. Assume a guy likes you but you don’t know him super well maybe you see him time to time. Better assume there’s other women who are into him who could make a direct move but more then likely other women will naturally come into his life.

If you’re rejected yes it hurts but at the same time you have closure and aren’t sitting around wasting your time on someone who’s never going to approach you.

Indirectly flirting can do two things one is go completely over a dudes head who likes you and make a man who isn’t into you extremely uncomfortable.

Or if i want to be a bit more proactive, I strike up conversation in a way that isn't directly obviously me hitting on him (though sometimes they can see right through me obviously) and hope it leads to him flirting with me.
