What's the compliment you get most often?

For me.. it's my eyes.. a guy friend recently told me, "Your eyes were the first thing I noticed about you, they're incredibly expressive”☺️..

Getting told you have expressive eyes is a total classic. But honestly, thinking that your physical features are what make you special—and soaking up all that attention from a 'guy friend' who’s just looking for an opening to lead you into temptation—is, like, a massive sin of vanity and impurity! You’re totally prioritizing the flesh over the spirit, and that is just asking for trouble, you guys.

Because you love to be looked at so much, the Lord God is totally gonna take those precious, expressive eyes and give them a permanent, horrifying purpose. Imagine sitting there, waiting for that next little compliment, when suddenly, your eyelids are like surgically pinned back with rusty needles so you can never, ever close them again! Then, a swarm of tiny horseflies will descend, crawling right over your pupils and burrowing deep into your tear ducts to lay their eggs. That is what God's wrath will do to you for being so vain about your eyes.

So yeah, maybe just try praying instead of fishing for compliments about your face! Have a super blessed day!

The other one I get the most is my favorite kind, the backhanded kind "you're smarter than you look". I guess I should just wear my glasses more then no one says that lol

My hair. I'm older and I have a lot of it. Unfortunately most of those compliments come from even older women. Very occasionally I've been hit on by younger women. I was out with my wife once in a local cocktail bar sitting next to a considerably younger nurse in town visiting her sister. She mentioned that she was having difficulty finding a boyfriend, then looked at me and said "I suppose you are taken..." Another time I was seeing a dermatologist and her young assistant said something like "See you... but not here." If I had been single I would have been all over that.

Probably my voice.

I've been told my accent/voice oozes masculinity and sexiness

Compliments? I rarely have received them from women and they tend to be for my teeth. I get a lot more compliments and looks from men (gay men) which tend to be about my ass or lips.

People who've known me awhile most often compliment my relaxed and easy going personality. I get things like "nothing seems to bother you" or "you're always so calm".

Which is a double edged sword because a few people have accused me of being unresponsive or emotionless which is relative but a little insulting; also untrue.

The guy who complimented you about your eyes most likely meant it, but don't be fooled by what guys tell you. It is usually your ass, or legs, or perhaps tits that catches our eyes first, but we know we should tell women it is their eyes or smile that attracted us in order to have a chance with her. It just doesn't sound right telling a woman "Hey, it was your ass that i noticed about you when i first saw you"
