Usually flirting should amount to something if you aren’t just doing it passively and are actually trying to pursue the woman. If it works then you’d know by the success rate, aka that conversation actually amount to something, like getting her number. If it’s unsuccessful then she will likely not respond to it in a blatant way, such as not flirting back or maybe just laughing it off how some women do.
