Don't bring romance into it at all until she knows you (unless there's immediate chemistry and then you won't have to ask); let her see how you interact with other people (they say guys ruin it when they are all nice but then they are rude to the waiter or someone like that, but we do notice how you are with other people, our friends or whoever); be the strong silent type, don't say much, listen to her a lot, let her talk and talk and talk (and she will), and then curiosity will drive her crazy and she'll start asking about you.
