From what I've gathered most of the time when a guy stares at you day after day, and it's not to make snide jokes/make fun of you..theres a good chance that he either likes you or would like to be friends. Your best bet since you like him and I know it may be hard exspecially when you like someone but go up to them and say something..you've known him since second grade I'm sure you can find something to start a conversation..it's really just as simple as a hey =D..good luck!
to answer that- we need more details. lol. it could be none. it could be all. I think you can rule out ugly and mean tho.
