What does it mean when a guy refer to your actions as cute?

When a guy is calling a girl cute it can mean a lot of things, and just about all of them are meant as a compliment. It's almost always a real endearing quality that brings out good vibes in us and melts our macho manly hearts.

If a guy says this referring to your looks, then he's saying you have a nice look about you that really catches his eye and he finds it attractive, but at the same time it's not a measure of your looks in terms of beauty. It isn't saying you're unattractive, it's not saying you're beautiful, and it should never be suggested to you that it says you're anything but gorgeous, because you could very well be. It could simply have been something you're wearing that set it off, or a way you were sitting or moving at the time, to because him to say "you look cute".

If he says this referring to your actions, then it's all about attitude, in fact that's usually what cute is all about. He's saying you have a charming playfulness about you. He's saying you have something about you that gives off the same kind of sweetness to it as a box of kittens or something. Just this indescribably nice quality that which says all around you're adorable, and makes us smile and feel happy, and give us that warmth inside.

So when I put it like that, can you really tell me that this is such a bad thing?

I don't understand why girls think of "cute" as a negative compliment, or that he thinks of you as a child. To me, it's one of the greatest compliments I could ever get - not beautiful, nor stunning. Cute refers to your personality as a whole, your attitude, the vibe you give off. It means you're adorable. It's POSITIVE. A compliment is a compliment. Besides, you can definitely guess by the context or by the way he's saying it, what way he means it.
