Why do guys like to hold girls hand so much?

The two guys I've been with always wanted to hold my hand, one of them always locked my fingers with his. Why do you like to do this guys?

Because we like to hold the woman we love. I dated a woman who use to love for me to wrap my arms around her as she fell asleep with her head on my shoulder. When we broke up I couldn't sleep for days because I missed that so much. Made me feel good to know she loved me that much and that I made her feel that safe and loved.

It is pretty cute. Me an this lady were in our cars at a traffic light and this young couple crossed the street holding hands walking stride for stride together swinging their arms. I smiles, the cute girl in the car next to me melted and we kind of shared that moment. It was funny. =P
