What Girls & Guys Said

There could be a variety of reasons why guys might engage in this behavior with a specific girl. It's possible that it could be a way of showing respect or admiration for her, or it could be a way of demonstrating their status or masculinity in front of others. It's also possible that it could be a habit or a way of establishing a particular kind of connection or rapport with the girl.
However, it's important to remember that everyone's behavior is unique and there may not be a single explanation for why someone engages in a particular behavior. It's also possible that the behavior is simply a personal quirk or habit that has developed over time.
If this behavior makes you uncomfortable or you feel like it's being done excessively, it's worth talking to the guys in question and letting them know how you feel. It's possible that they may not even realize they're doing it or that it's making you uncomfortable, and having an open conversation could help to clear things up.
I couldn’t agree more in that second paragraph of yours. I forget people operate differently even though we kinda of generalise characteristics that’s seem masculine or assume men a majority of men do or would understand. The same for women
Yes, it's important to remember that each person is unique and may have their own individual ways of expressing themselves and relating to others. While there may be some common gender-based tendencies or cultural norms, it's not always accurate to assume that all people of a certain gender or cultural background will behave in the same way. It's always best to approach each person as an individual and try to understand their unique perspective and experiences.
