My ex called me so adorable! How do I reply?

Him calling me adorable threw me for a loophole and now I'm not sure how to reply to his message - he wrote "So adorable :)'

Maybe its because I want this to be true, but I imagine he would not use the word adorable if he did not at least like me a little bit?

He's probably interested in getting you back, so just say Thanks, and leave it with that. He might pick up the hint, and if not, just don't show you're interested in him aswell. Honestly, leave him where he is. I don't know why you broke up, but it's probably for a good reason, if he did something wrong, then you definitely should leave him as your ex.

Studies have shown getting back with your ex is a really bad idea. I don't have a source of that, but you can google it ;D

You say, "Thank you." and leave it at that. If he's your ex, he's in that position for a reason. Mine compliments me every once in a while, then raises h*ll for me the rest of the year.

I agree with anonymous, just say thanks... he could have said that for any reason. If he wants you back it will be obvious with time
