What does a guy mean when he says I'm cute?

I've noticed that guys call woman beautiful, pretty, sexy, gorgeous...whatd does he mean when he calls them cute?

I've been called cute, and cute meant that I was adorable, precious, blah blah. could it mean something else? because the response I gave him was not cute..it was bizarre, but not cute!

Well he could be attracted to you.Usually when I call a girl cute I mean that she could be pretty,beautiful,sexy,or gorgeous,any or all of the previous adjectives but cute girls tend to have younger looking features and have the kinda face that makes you think "oh that girl looks so sweat"(like she could be a really nice person)but usually if I call a girl cute I mean she is good looking and I am attracted to her.When I look at her she makes me feel funny inside and makes me melt for her and like I want to yea like adore her and caress her.sometimes people will say oh that's cute when you say something and I think they mean like oh that's cute he is trying to act cool or grown up.I have had girls tell me that I was cute for saying something or telling them something but it has been quite a while since it has happen so I don't remember the exact context that the word was used in sorry.I think it was something like I described above.Like I told her wow you look good today and sexy and she said oh that's cute.So I think the context that girls have call me cute for before is this -mentally keen; clever; shrewd.Calling a girl cute though could like you said mean adorable or precious also those would be Synonyms I think.

well I'll use it in context. he asked what I was thinking and I told him "you have pubic hair on your face" and he said "you're cute!" but I mean that really was not cute at all. that's like saying that unicorns sh*t sherbet icecream. I mean if a girl randomly noted that unicorns sh*t sherbet ice cream would you call her cute for it?
