Are you a natural flirt?

Like, do you unintentionally flirt with everyone? Do you know anyone who's a naturally flirty person? What do you think defines a natural flirt? And if you are indeed flirty with everyone, how exactly do you show when you genuinely like someone?

I used to think I didn't know how to flirt, but I've come to realize in the last little while that I'm kind of a natural at it. I'm jokey and friendly with everyone, and I tease everyone, and I'm kind of a silly and sarcastic person. I dunno, I would consider that natural flirting, my definition of it, anyway. As for how I show when I romantically like someone... I'm not entirely sure, haha

I guess my actions speak louder than words in those cases. I'll want to be around that person more, and I'll do stuff like pat them on the arm or shoulder... stuff like that.

I dunno, these are just some thoughts I was having :-)

I feel like I should clarify that I very rarely intentionally flirt. If I do it, it's all without realizing it. I don't actually notice that I say or do flirty things until I think back to our interactions. Come to think of it, it's one good way to evaluate my feelings for someone, haha

If you were to read and worship Cosmopolitan magazine like it's the bible, then yes, I'm a natural flirt. There are all kinds of articles in it that say turning your head to the side, raising your eyebrows, standing a certain way, etc are all subtle signs of flirting. I've started paying more attention to when I do those things.

Honestly, I have no idea whether or not a person should put any stock in those methods. I've noticed that I sure as hell get a very friendly reaction from any guy I greet that way, but who's to say there isn't another factor that I haven't noticed?

When I want a guy, I go for him. I don't waste my time hoping eye contact and smiling alone will get him to come up to me first. I introduce myself when I feel like it, chat the guy up for a little while a few times, and then I give him my number if he hasn't already given me his.

Now that I think of it, if you ask people who know me, they'd be very likely to say I'm a natural. I'm not inclined to believe I'm so good at it as they claim I am, though.

I'm currently trying to figure out if my natural flirty guy friend is into me. He is super charismatic, attractive and chased by a thousand girls. He hasn't gone out with anyone in years and I know - from being close - that he is actually waiting to meet the right person. He dated around and doesn't want to do it anymore...so the girls chasing him are deseperate to gain his notice.

I offically joined the club 2 months ago after finding his clueless flirting hilarious. He reaches out to touch people, laughs at everything and is happy, bubbly and smiles constantly. I would love to know how you tell the difference between a natural (or in his case, accidental) flirt!

If I like the guy I can't help but flirt with him, even though I usually try to hide it. I don't think about the fact that I'm flirting but after the convo's over I realize how much I gave it away that I like him.

Yes, I can't help myself. Earlier today I was a passenger in my friend's car and I looked to my right and there was a car full of girls and the driver and I made eye contact and without me even consciously thinking about it, I raised my head at her to say hi and she did it back. It quickly escalated, and before I knew it we were blowing kisses at each other and ultimately she ended up making a pretty sexual gesture with her finger in her mouth. My friend couldn't believe it and she swears I am ruthless but I just saw it as having harmless fun. It's not like I slept with the girl without a condom, it was all just messing around! lol.

Anyway, I'm single and I don't see anything wrong with it. Had I been in a relationship, of course I wouldn't be doing such things.

I'm not too sure where I stand on the subject actually. Well to explain the situation, I'm confident but at the same time I make it a habit to be courteous and accommodating. I've asked plenty of girls out to dinner without fear with a good deal of success, but not with the intention of a romantic goal in mind, though it seems to often be interpreted as that by others. I casually compliment girls on their looks, both a bit older then me as well as my own age, and have been called charming, but I know that doesn't necessarily mean "flirt." So, I guess it'd be up to a girl to interpret whether I am or not.

By US standards I probably am but its not something I focus on or try to do. I treat everyone the same I laugh, I joke, I tease, I touch but I find most people I know are the same, sarcastic to the core. I am a very friendly chatty person and never think what I'm doing could be construed as flirting and never think that because someone acts that way with me that they're flirting. But if I'm interested in someone I'm exactly the opposite I suddenly become quiet and stand offish especially around other people but one on one I can be very straight forward.

Ok, yes I am a flirt. I don't mean anything by it other than a confidence booster. That should raise some flags there but I'm being honest.

If I am texting a male friend (of many years) and it goes beyond the limit of what is normally considered platonic (think from the perspective if I were reading the texts), I will keep participating in the conversation BUT won't go as far as to commit/do anything because I am in a relationship with my partner. But, here is the sad part...if my man is having those sorts of conversations with a woman, I would go compelely mental and probably rage on him for a good long while.. Such a double standard that I can't explain but am being totally honest.

I guess in a way I am. I like to mess with everybody and play around (literally play games like tag and keep away), mostly with my guy friends, other people see it is as flirting when I don't see it that way at all.

I always assumed flirting was a lot of smilling and arm touching. :l

I personally am a natural flirt too, I never realized it until everyone was asking me for advice how to flirt lol. I feel like I'm just like how you described yourself lol. So that would be my definition too. As for when I'm romantically attracted to someone I just want to be around that person all the time. lol

I sometimes tend to flirt with people without even knowing. People call me a huge flirt, but I can't help it. Some boys I talk to are just hilarious, and I laugh at everything they say. Body language also defines flirting, and I always lean into people when I'm talking to, even girls. Some people take it weird, but then boys totally go for it and are like "HEYYY!" and then I kind off back off, because when I REALLY want to flirt, I REALLY. FLIRT. hahaha. Yeah...

I'm bold and confident. I do flirt, and not in a subtle way either. It could be just a friendly or work flirt since nothing would happen from it.

Though I don't pick up on when people are flirting with me if it's subtle. I also don't like to assume anything so unless things are said, I don't even consider it.

I'm pretty much just like you. When I like someone I'll ask her out. But it got me into troubles because sometimes girls I'm not interested in romantically get mad when they realize I'm not into them that way.

But for the most part it plays a very positive role in my life. Majority of girls like it and it makes them feel good. And it makes me asking girls I like very natural and easy. I think the few mishaps are unavoidable and not that big of a deal. I think people who are not good at being social and flirty have it much harder than me.

Yes I do, it gets me into trouble a lot. I'm very in charge in my day to day life at work, spend time around a lot of people; I have to be sort of the center of attention amongst a lot of people, so I can crack jokes and make everyone feel comfortable. If I were genuinely interested in someone, Id manipulate the situation to get myself a few seconds with them and make them laugh one on 1.

Now that you mention it, I flirt with like every guy I talk to. I have a lot of close guy friends that I deffinately would never want to go out with, but now that I think about it, everything I do is something flirty. I guess I just can't help it. It's just the way I act in front of guys. I have a boyfriend so I hope it doesn't make him think that I'm a player or anything because I really do like him.

Well all this has made me realize I really need to watch myself around guys or they might get the wrong idea! ha ha =)

I'm only a natural flirt when the girl initiates the flirting or if I'm just playing around with one of my girl friends. Otherwise I find it hard to start flirting with a girl I'm genuinely interested in.
