Girls confesses her feelings first, will it turn you off?

I have two questions, please help to answer both.

1.Many say in this day and age, it's okay for girls to make the first move but it's also said that men love challenges so they prefer to lead the chase. So if a girl confesses her feelings for you, would you take her for granted and easily lose your interest (if you are also interested)?

2. This is my case, I did confess to this guy I like saying that I have feelings for him but still need more time to figure it out and subtly gave him a hint that if he asks me out, I'd say yes and he actually did. We talked and laughed like non-stop during the so-called date, that it's great having time with me like this and we should meet more often but it's been a week since then yet he hasn't asked me out again so I wondered if he was interested to get closer to me or actually just curious...What you guys think?

I am in kind of same boat with you but I didn't confess him. I actually did ask him out and he said he got great time with me. I told him to let me know when he will have free time for second date. Then I didn't get any text from him and I started messaging him but I didn't mention about second date. Now, my colleagues said I shouldn't text him anymore and wait for his move. I am not patient type. I wanted to ask him second date but afraid that he might lose the interest in me.. Sigh..

1 - I met my 1st girlfriend this way I was oblivious that she liked me it was not a turn off.

2- It could be two things he prefers you as a friend for now or he want to know you better and wants to take things a bit slower

2) He may have assumed you were more foreward than you actually are, and thought that you would organise the second date.

But I'm still shy though...So if I keep quiet, do you think he will think over and ask me out again? Will I have a slim hope that he would?

Why are you still shy at this point? You made the first move, he accepted it and asked you out, you guys have had a good first date.

What is there to be shy about at this stage? You know he likes you. He knows you like him.

Don't let something like this die from neglect just because you have cold feet.

If you want something, then go get it.

Nothing wrong with it at all, some guys who really like a girl often don't have the guts to ask her out so it actually helps when a girl makes the first move.
