I have been complimented before but never on this (and yes, I'm a person who showers everyday). This girl at school had known me for a few months now and I have been using the same body products for a while (and I see her often too). Yesterday we were sitting together (again, very usual) and she told me "you smell good". I kept my cool and told her what I was wearing and stuff but, I thought it was weird since I'm sure she noticed before and she is kinda quiet and nervous around me, so it came as a surprise. If I went up to a girl and gave her that compliment, she'd label me as a perv lol. Does this mean anything? She is very cute but just very quiet, although lately she has been coming out of her shell a little but I don't want to scare her, she is like a squirrel, so I have to move slowly. Real talk, a guy who smells good is a real turn on.

When they smell good, I want to get to know them intimately. Blame the pheromones? I think so.

I really don't know too much of your situation but...

When a girl says you smell good:

1.) You smell good

2.) She's thinking about what you use to smell good, which means she's thinking about you.

and

3.)She's definitely making a mental note that you smell good, and that is always a plus, and can lead to other thoughts!

Plus, even if a guy smells good but is a not my type, I would never express my thoughts verbally.

So I think this shy girl was flirting with you in her own way.

What does it mean when my girlfriends sister comes up to me gives me a hug and tells me i smell good ( i had collughn on?) when the family was outside waiting to be seated in the restaurant 12 of us, then we sat down she sat across from me 3 people down to my right i too a quick a quick glance towards her and she did the same we locked eyes for like 2 seconds and i played it off... i dont talk to her cause i have a mad crush on her i dont know what to say to her plus she has a boyfriend, the family thinks i dont like her but little do they know she drives me crazy when i see her, every time they come over or we go over or we meet up at a restaurant she she gives me and my girl a hug and the mom and dad but she comes over to hug me what does all this mean?

Yeah, I've done that before to guys I've known and just random guys in a grocery store lol. Smells attract women more than men probably...idk. That's just what I think. But anywho! If you get a complement about the way you smell from a girl who's normally quite like a little squirrel, then...she may be trying to open up to you...:) you never know, ya know? So...like you said, move slow, and see where her compliments take the 'relationship'. :)

She like you, I'd say. She sounds shy though, I think you should show that you like her too. But easily, like complimenting her appareance or saying that she's a sweet person to be around, something like that.
