A guy goes out if his way to tease me?

We work together and there a few that are our age and a few not. I notice that I'm the only one that he teases, excessively. Even when I'm serious. He's always trying to horse around with me and play games yet never ever with anyone else. He does it even when we're in meetings alone. I'm trying to not blush and giggle and pay attention while he tries to get me to laugh. I don't get it...why is he treating me so different?

Maybe he likes you and he figures the only way to get your attention is by teasing you and by playing games. Do you like him? And od you like when he plays games with you? It seems like he is really into you. I think instead of him over doing it with playing games and stuff. He needs to try and talk to you more and get to know you better.

He does ask about me about myself but mainly teases the living heck out of me. Usually 90% of the time. It could be as simple as me coming to work and saying good morning to all when he jumps and says "well look who it is? Boooooo!" then starts giggling. Everyone else he just says good morning. If I ask him questions he messes with me, plays keep away when I ask to borrow a book to make copies. Hello pretend to hand it over then take it away and giggle. Then he'll do it again

Yeah he definitley seems to be into you. And wow he likes to do a lot of things to get your attention. The thing is if you like it when he teases you? I think it cna be cute sometimes and other times it can be annoying. Maybe it's his way of having fu naround you and by him teasing and joking makes him feel comfortable and not be nervous. But teasing yo u90 percent of the time is a whole lot of teasing. Do yo uever get tired of the teaseing?

Its not the actual teasing that I'm annoyed with its the fact that we're not suppose to flirt or anything like that in the office. It doesn't help that he does it in front of everyone. Sometimes others give him a dirty look. He's really not suppose to be doing that. Although I find him charming, I'm petrified that we're going to get in trouble! I turn beet red and blush because he teases me AND others are watching!

That is cool tthat you find him charming and stuff. But that is not cool that his teasing can get you and him in trouble. I know a lot of places don't even allow co-workers to date each other. You are very right it could get you guys in touble. Maybe him more then you and he shouldn't do it in front of everybody. At least he should be sneaky or discrete about it. It's not like your responding back to his flirts/teases. I can't blame you for turning red and blushing.He should just ask you out.

Wow so you guys are not allowed to date? Yeah some companies have weird policies. I knew some peopel who were co-workers and they dated when they were not suspose to. Anyway I'm kind of certain this guy likes you even though he teases you alot. The way I see teasing is a way to get a girls attention if you like her.So he does this for you to look at him and talk to him.And since he does it a lot I feel that he really likes you. And maybe teasing is the only way he can express himself.

Teasing is a type of behavior guys can display when they like you sooo, maybe he does. Does he do anything else that's suspicious?

I usually use a combination of things to suss out whether a guy likes me including:

how much attention he gives me, the way he treats me in comparison to everyone else (teasing/compliments), does he contact me often/when he doesn't need to, is his body language giving him away (smiling/touchy feely/nervous/imitation/jealousy etc.), does he offer me things (time/objects/help), his friends. Body language and contact are usually the two things I spot, everything else is just extra.

Well since I haven't known him that long, so far, he teases me and does not tear the others. It's distinct, the others he's silly but he won't flat out tease them or play around.

Maybe he likes you, maybe he just feels comfortable with you, maybe your laughter is cute and he likes to play with you because of that.

You'd have to pay attention to his behavior. If he likes to talk with you or even invites you to eat lunch with him, anything in which he makes an effort for you, then that'd be showing his interest. Otherwise it might just be his personality and friendship with you.

We only just go to get coffee together. I notice that when we are with others, he pays more attention to me and primarily teases or mocks anything I say.
