Ok I'm in college and in one of my lectures there is a girl that I've seen that I think is really hot. I've never really gone up to a girl just randomly before. I don't have a lot of experience with girls I have never really had a girlfriend and for a long time until recently I didn't want one. I'm not some weird guy or anything. I've actually had plenty of girls say I'm hot but I'm really shy. I keep thinking about approaching this girl in my lecture just don't know how without feeling awkward. There are 200ish people in the lecture and for the most part a lot of people sit in the same seat or area every class. I also find myself getting to class before her and I feel like it would be awkward if I sat near where she sits hoping she sits near me to strike up a conversation. And when class ends its a cluster of people leaving and she's gone. I don't know I might just be giving myself excuses why I can't talk to her but I would like to think think what other girls think I should do
I am in he same situation as you with the guy I like . First see if she looks at you during lecture. I always look randomly at the guy I like .(ofcourse when he is not looking my way) ha ha .
Maybe you can try to change sit and than see if she tries to find you where you usually sit for lecture .

When everyone is leaving try to ask her how she's doing in that class and ask her if she wants to study together sometime. Then if she says okay get her number and take it from there. Good luck :)
