How to approach a girl AFTER class?

There's this girl in my class that I find absolutely beautiful and I'd like to get to know her better. The problem is, I have a friend in that class and I'd feel bad just leaving him and sitting next to her. What could I say to her after class so as not to come off as awkward. How do I approach her?

Do you want to get to know her better as a friend or as a mate/romantically? If romantically/as a mate, and you want to date her, you should definitely ask her out! Do you want to date her only because you find her attractive? But that doesn't matter, that's off the point because physical appearance is what we see first, but yeah, definitely just go after class one day and ask her out.

Preferably romantically, but I've never spoke to her, the class just started. I was thinking of being upfront and just asking her out just like that, would that work?

Oh, okay. Yes, I think that is a great idea! :) You should be upfront with her and just ask her out. It won't hurt. Yes, it could definitely work, and to give you more confidence and motivation and hope to do it, let me tell you a true story. I met my ex-boyfriend through class. We had a class together and he just asked me out like that and I said yes, and then we started dating and became boyfriend and girlfriend eventually. :) So, I'm sure it will work well for you too. You're 19, I'm 22, so I have 3 more years of experience in life than you do, but anywhooo, she is a different girl than I am so I don't know if she would like that. I personally would LOVE it if a guy asks me out like that! Hahaha, but that's just me. :) If you asked me out by saying that, I would totally say yes, so I think that is a good plan. Ask her out by saying that. And I answered on your other question too, that you just posted.

To not make it awkward, you can just approach her after class one day and ask her something about the homework or classwork or lecture or teacher, I don't know make up something. But then maybe try to start a conversation with her after that and when you feel comfortable, ask her out on a date. Hope that helps! =) Good luck! :)
