Is a guy more attractive when he gets a tattoo? What do girls think?

I wouldn't necessarily say a tattoo would make a guy more attractive, but tattoos can look nice and sexy on a guy in the right place and if it's actually a meaningful or symbolic tattoo. If a guy has some weird random ridiculous tattoo like Justin Bieber on his inner thigh or some stupid fad than it would make him less attractive to me just because he decided to permanently engrave something so dumb on his body. But tattoos can be sexy but it's the reason why you got that tattoo that might make you MORE attractive...in my opinion.

Depends on the tattoo, where it is, and on the guy. Not all tattoos look good on guys, and not just any tattoo looks good on a person. It really depends on the kind of body they have and the kind of tattoo they have. Sometimes they put it on the worst places for that kind of tattoo. But generally speaking, it's attractive.

How much I'd like to say "no, tattoos don't lead my feelings", I'd say yes to your question. Depends on what the tattoo is ofcourse. If it's something normal, with a meaning, I'm totally up for it. But when it's a hello kitty he got when he was drunk, then he's just a fool.

Not when you have too much like a full sleeve. It almost makes them less attractive because they cover themselves up with all these tattoos and you can't even really see their skin anymore. A few dont matter but too much is a bit of a turnoff. Unless you're trying to impress some sort of biker chic who also has a full sleeve of tattoos then maybe

I like tattoos that are well done, have meaning, and fit the person/good placement. I get intrigued by tattoos, and might be drawn in to inquire about them, however the only guys I've ever gone for didn't have any, so I guess it doesn't really have any impact on attraction (for me).

but sometimes they can be a total turn on!
normally, i hate any type of tattoo above the shoulder..but sometimes i see a guy with neck tattoos wearing a dress shirt buttoned up all the way with a tie and the tattoos peek out and damn that's attractive. nothing i'd bring home to my parents though!

It depends. For me personally, if it's something meaningful and still professional looking (like can easily be covered up for a job, like a back/upper shoulder tattoo, or something small but out in the open, I think it's sexy. But if it's just random crap for the sake of being tattood but doesn't mean anything to the guy, or is in highly visable places, not quite as sexy. Like full sleeves can be beautiful, I just wouldn't want to date the guy.

It depends on the guy. If the guy is buff/muscular, then yes, tattoos would make him look attractive as long as it's not too much. If the guy is skinny/fat and he gets a tattoo, then no, he would not look more attractive with a tattoo. That's my opinion though so it might be different for other girls.

Depends on the tattoos. If he has religious tattoos, that's a turn off. If he has any overly suggestive tattoos or tattoos that only a jackass would get, that's also a turn off. Otherwise, it's a turn on for me.

Tattoos only add something special when the piece is done nicely, placed well, and actually has some meaning behind it. Getting flames, a skull, or barbed wire just makes a guy look desperate. Other than that, I'm neutral.

It depends on the tattoo. If it's ugly or is done poorly, than no. And if it's not tasteful, than also no. But I think we look a little deeper than just the skin! I hope I'm not the only one, for the sake of the male population. Tattoos will never be a "be all, end all."

If he has like one or two. It is extremely hot. (if he didn't get a stupid one when he was drunk or something, or a past girlfriend's name, that's tacky) More than that? It can get to be a turn off

Tattoo's are still considered very low-class and trashy, unless you are in a biker gang or convicted felon that's escaped prison then you really shouldn't be getting tattoo's

also there's nothing permanent about them, they can be removed by laser, so there's really no point, just use a magic marker then wash off with alcohol when you get bored of it...

Not necessarily. If it's a cool or well done one, then sure, I think it looks pretty great. But if it's an obnoxiously large or tacky one (ones on the face) then it's a turnoff.

It really depends on the tattoo, quality of the art, subject matter, and body placement. If I see a $30 tattoo on some guys upper arm I find them trashy. If it's a classy or meaningful tattoo with great art work then I LOVE them

I'm indifferent to them. I've dated guys with zero tattoos and dated guys with 5+. I have to find other things sexy, the tattoo itself does nothing for me.

Though, if it's meaningful, it's a nice way to bond with him talking about it.
