Why is my crush's friend nice to me all of a sudden?

There is this guy I like and I'm certain he likes me back. He stares at me all the time and he comes around a lot but won't say much and when I do talk to him he doesn't say much but he smiles a lot. Lately his best friend has been really nice to me cracking jokes making me laugh when before he never spoke to me. Why is that? Do you think my crush told him about me?

I'm going through the same exact thing. Except the friend (s ) is a girl who stares at me and a guy who's been friendly.
Have you ever heard your crush say something about you to ANYBODY?
If not, they probably just caught on to what's going on.
If so, he definitely told his friends about you! Why would he tell anybody if he wasn't going to tell his friends about you?
I'd say you should take it like I do. Which is basically he told him that he likes you.

Either your crush told him about you, or if your crush isn't interested in you, his friend might know and make a move on you instead.
