Well I don't think I would feel insecure by it, as well everyone has their own opinions about things. But then again if I didn't know what they though of me, I guess I'd feel curious as to would she put me in the "hot" category as well. And as for the "friend" thing, I wouldn't even think of it like that, as I am known as a guy who you can talk almost anything with anyway. Also if she tells me that some guy is hot, I'd think that she might be teasing me by saying so, especially so if she knew about my crush on her.
Yes lol; always a little. If it's a celebrity on TV or something, no I don't. But if it's someone she knows or we know, I do a little. Then I stop myself, I put it into perspective, and I'm OK again.
no I do not. I like talking about other people with my crush. if its someone we both know then that's a little too close to home. I like to establish that we are no matter what friends, I'm not insecure and I like honesty. I mean there's billions of people in the world, no point in acting like you don't want to f*** others.
I feel the same as you do. If I'm liking a guy and he's making comments about other girls I'd sort of see that as a sign that he just doesn't see me in the same way I see him.

When I heard my crush (Ryan) and best friend (Doug) talk about how hot Kelly Clarkson and Taylor Swift are and I kept wishing I was as pretty as the girls they were talking about. But Ryan was telling me that he does know a lot of hot girls but it's not the looks that matter, it's what the person is like that matters (he said that's why he likes me). So yes at first I did feel insecure but then he made me realize that looks don't matter.
It makes me a little insecure but I know that it's not the end of all hope. For one, they can like more than one person. Two, it could be a test. I will usually talk about how cute some actor is in front of guys I like just to get their reactions. It's a good way to see whether or not he cares. I've done it and it's been done to me, so I don't rule out that possibility.
Yeah, I've done it before though ...karma. (it's never intentional that's the worst part, in both cases)
