Guys: Do you find it more attractive if a girl wears revealing clothing, or covers up more?

After seeing the article on Yahoo about bikinis going out of style and one-piecies becoming more popular, I started to wonder... Can covering up more honestly be more attractive? And would this also apply to everyday clothing?

I kind of wonder this too. I used to always wear revealing clothes for my ex as much as possible when we were alone. Well, in the summers I wore revealing clothes just because it was hot out. Sometimes he would ask me to cover up though, that he liked undressing me and that there was more to discover with each layer of clothes he took off. That didn't make sense to me because he knew what I looked like naked. So how was he discovering more? It used to offend me that he hated that I wore revealing clothes, even though he said he didn't 'hate it' he just didn't want me to do it all the time. I felt offended and unattractive around him, so I broke up with him.

I am starting to date this new guy now, and he tells me that he wishes I wouldn't wear such revealing clothes all the time.

I don't get it. People tell me I am very pretty. Don't they want to see me?

Wearing revealing clothing in private, hot as hell. But, yeah, when in public...Idk. For me, part of it is I miss the old days where people were classier all the time. There's also the dislike of people staring at your girl, or feeling like she's displaying to try to get attention..it can be a little uncomfortable at times, especially for more insecure people.

As far as taking off layers, yeah, we know what you look like. But there's...something...sexy about "unwrapping a package"...

what I am going to say is my opinion. But I can understand both men.. it has nothing to do with your attractiveness at all , it is a matter of feeling you are special ... he wanted to see many sides of you .. and he said it himself.. he would like to undress you himself .. he couldn't have said it in a more clear way . This has nothing to do with you being pretty or attractive... it is hard to explain.lol

It is all about you keeping your intimate self only for him and not the world to see. You naked is a special treat for his eyes only instead of everyone knowing. Of course when in private, I, him most guys would want you in something sexy if not naked but when amongst other people we want our special treat covered. Unwrapping* is also extremely fun...whether you understand it or not.

Anyway, I am surprised how you don't understand any of this.

I only wear revealing clothes for other people to see in the summer but when it's cold I don't. But with my ex even when we were just inside and no one was around I wore nothing but revealing clothes and he asked me not to do it so much. And right now it's winter and with my new guy it's the same thing. I understand why they don't want the world to see, but they should like the fact that I always wear lingerie if they think I'm hot when were alone.

I think it catches men's attention more when you make your assets (boobs, butt, etc.) noticeable, but not obvious... basically, showing a little cleavage goes a long way. It still lets them know something's there, but you're still being mysterious by not showing everything.

Well my girlfriend dresses in clothing that is not really revealing and the few times she did wear something more revealing, well I though it was sexy and I stared a lot,

and the one piece being sexier than a bikini, at least in my option they can be equally sexy, little to no cleavage one peace is going to be sexier, mid-range cleavage both types are equally sexy as mid-range bikini actually makes sense as there is a set of boobs for the bikini top to hold, large cleavage can go either way, it depends on how saggy the boobs are -_- and yes I have a slight swimsuit fetish so I have actually though about this, and I can't wait for it to get warmer so I can see her in her swimsuit, I haven't asked what kind of suit she has, but she had like mid-range cleavage so whatever she wear I will probably like it anyways ^__^

and the reason some guys think girls that are more modestly dressed are more atractive is because of the mystery factor, they want to know what they are hidding underneath all the clothing, and no that is why I picked my girlfriend, I picked her because I feel confurtable with her and I knew her so I asked her to be my girlfriend so yeah

Depends. Yeah, really revealing clothing is going to catch my eye (when your shorts stop halfway down your ass cheek, yeah, I'm going to notice.. But I am a little more of a conservative person and am usually more attracted to/go for girls that are dressed in a cuter, more conservative/covered up way.

That being said, bikini vs one-piece, hell, wear the bikini. Just keep it on the beach or in the pool, not the middle of downtown haha

One thing I always think bout when I see women dressing more revealing is a mix between they could be very loose and only god knows what disease they could have, wanna ask them 'How much?' (If you know what I mean..lol) and somebody that I wouldn't like to associate with at all. Main reason is if I end up dating somebody that's modest I know its going to be a really good thing compared to revealing dresser she might cheat

Revealing, but not slutty hooker wear.
Example: ( when we go somewhere, my girlfriend does this whenever I ask or she feels like making me crazy ).
She dress with pants and a Sport Jacket, no bra or top. She only buttons the middle button.
Occasionally, her boob or nipple stuck out when she moves. I can’t stop looking and waiting for a slip !
