Girlfriend wants to wear corset to her friends birthday at club

Girlfriends best friend has a birthday coming up and she asked to wear corset to the club for her party. I ask her to wear lingere in bed all the time she says there's no point Because id just tear it off. I have national guard drill that night and can't go. I told her I felt uncomfortable with it am I right or wrong.

I think its the fact that she won't put on sexy lingere for you in private but yet can wear a corset out in public.

She might feel uncomfortable in certain lingere rather than a corset because a corset actually hids a lot compared to a thong lol

A corset is no more revealing than a tank top in most cases. I don't think it's a big deal and I don't think it's something worth starting a fight over. Now if she wanted to show up in a bra or a teddy or something then I could see the issue. But a corset? No...

What kind of corset are we talking about here? Not all of them are frilly, lacy, tie back, lingerie type.

I can see why you'd be uncomfortable dude. Granted a corset isn't much more revealing than a lot of clothes girls wear out to the club but it is still lingerie and she should be sensitive to your feelings to a point.

If I were you I'd tell her that you are uncomfortable with it and while you will never tell her what to do, you'd really appreciate it if she consider wearing something different

they are selling them everywhere now as clothing I see them a lot especially for 20 somethings so it's not just for the bed anymore. Yes it's sexy attire, she probably wants to feel cute in front of her friends...women dress as much for each other as they do for men as much as that might be hard for guys to believe its sadly true LOL

I understand 100% what you are saying and agree in regards to women liking to look cute in front of other women... I think for me, I trust my girlfriend but I don't trust other guys and I'd worry that they'd over sexualize my girlfriend and make assumptions that they may act on because of what she is wearing... Would you be OK if your boyfriend asked you not to wear something like a corset out?

If I'd bought it with the purpose of wearing it to this particular event and it was important to me to look really cute that night I'd be totally fine if he asked me but I hope he would be just as respectful if I declined and assured him he had nothing to worry about because I wasn't hunting for another man I just wanted to be cuter than the other girls we were going out with
