Opinions on attractive faces but an unattractive profile?

Say someone is attractive straight on, but their profile of their face isn't. (ex: their nose sticks out, etc.) Would somebody having an unattractive profile be a turn off even if they are attractive when you look at them straight on?

my sister has her way with boys, like she really attracts them, but she always complained that she had our dad's nose, which looks quite nice on men, but a little manly on girls when you look at her profile, while I get where she was comming from, despite being quite manly guys, my bro and I have "delicated" facial features, kind of baby faces, we look manly because our beards and stuff, but aside from the nose, or features are like kids :P so is not a super macho nose, but yes, a little manly, you do not notice when face to face, only on profile, my sis broke her nose recently on a trip and for the lack of attention it "healed" badly, so she took it as an opportunity to get it fix both in function and appearance, the doctor himself said "I can fix it but, I do not think you need to change it", my sis insisted, so he was like "I would just make LITTLE arangements, since I think you should still look like yourself, since you look nice" (imagine a plastic sugeon saying this), indeed he did not change it a lot, and honor to him it healed fast and is you meet my sis you would not guess she had the nose fixed, but for us, and many of her boy fans, she looks more average now, like, we liked her better before :P I think you should not be worried, is one of the many things that define you, and you can wear it proudly

i have that problem I look not that bad if you look straight on my face but my profile is horrible! my cheeks are too fat, my nose is a bit too big and I do have a widowers peak so on the side my mairline is pretty high and my eyes look somehow "sunk"...

once I had a ponytail usually I have a long side fringe but it was hot and so I put all hair behind and one mean guy from my class once said something like "you look like you have cancer"

i also ask myself regulary how can someone love me and want to wake up next to me if I look so sick from the side...

then again I know this guy and I think he is really pretty and he has really a big nose but I am so into him that for me he will always be beautiful...

so probably if you really like a person for what she/he is and aren`t just into looks I think it doesn`t matter

For me, it's only a turn off if I see them in profile first. For example, at the restaurant where I work there was a guy sitting on a bar stool in profile. The first thing I noticed about him was the size of his nose. When he walked up to the register and ordered I noticed that he was actually not that bad looking and his nose wasn't as large as it looks in profile, but I still couldn't help but think "Nose nose nose nose nose nose nose nose nose nose nose" the entire time I was taking his order.

We aren't photographers looking for models with all the right angles. All that matters is that they're attractive at face value, from the front

Some people don't like big noses so yeh then it will be a problem like I know so many good looking people it's just they have big noses and they are insecure about it in there pics because someone always jokes about it

I totally understand what you are saying. But if someone is turned off by your profile, I would think that person is a bit shallow and not worth your time.

No. A good example is Cheryl Cole, and the bump on her nose. She doesn't have such a great profile, but she's still attractive regardless. Guys tend to look at the overall package, whereas girls tend to nitpick on certain features

I have that issue, personally. I can't date everyone I want, but it hasn't held me back in dating as much as personal issues, such as depression and cynicality.

Chill out and cut the victim sh*t. I said no, as in if they are attractive front on and had a "bad" side profile I would still find them attractive. I get made fun of for my height (im 5'10!) and whatever, people are always going to make fun and you gotta let the bad time roll. And if you notice I am not the only one who had "no lol." Might want to copy and paste that comment,.
