Is beauty subjective or objective? Do the attractiveness scales accurately depict a person's desirability?

I think it greatly depends on who is being asked. One man's trash is another man's treasure. For instance, according to the internet Freida Pinto is a 10, Henry Cavill is a 10 and Joey King is a 4.5. But if given a choice, a 10/10 white guy would go for a 4/10 white girl over a 10/10 Indian girl. So how can we even trust the attractiveness guides for men and women when racial preferences greatly affect people's perception?

I was told I was a 2/10 on this website by racists without even seeing me all because I am an Indian. I'm glad the one I consider a 100/10 messaged me.

Aren't people biased against certain ethnicities? So we can't trust how they rate us. People give individual opinions not factual.

it is mostly subjective but some opinions are so popular they might as well be objective for example Henry Cavill is objectively more attractive than Danny Devito. this shouldn't even be a discussion unfortunately

given that attractiveness is subjective, there are objective factors that can be used to measure attractiveness for example tall height in men is seen as more attractive than short height in men. height can be tangibly measured in centimeters or inches. angle of jawline, shoulder width, breast size, butt size, body fat percentage etc. are also tangible factors that can be measured.

Maybe for simplicity one would opt for a 4/10 from their own ethnicity rather than a foreigner who is a 10/10. Maybe understanding someone's values and culture takes a lot out of them.
Also, one can be attractive af but its ultimately the person who keeps you attracted to them. If i fancy a 10/10 woman and if she's a horrible person i will not still be attracted to her. A lot of factors have to be considered for what makes a person attractive to you.

Also, they never give you a criteria as to on what basis they rate someone's attractiveness.

a lot of good and great looking people are objectively attractive... but when it comes to people being attracted to them in particular, that's a very different story, one that is subjective

Attractive is 100% subjective. Beauty is in the eye of the Beholder. What is attractive to me is not to him and vice versa.
