Well any kind of flirting immediately insinuates there is something else going on, so if you feel its flirting then yeah its bad.. But some things can be construed as flirting when neither party feels that way. My rule of thumb is, if you can say it to your sibling and you don't feel anything except friendship for the other person, then its okay. The moment something is said that would be weird being said to/coming from my sister is when things get weird

pretty much anyone can flirt harmlessly. harmless means there are no intentions of the flirting going anywhere, it is just for fun. this is especially true when one or both of the parties is not single.

but, there is no real example, it depends on the situation.

usually it's light teasing without mentioning anything sexual or related to nudity.

flirting always means something. you flirt with someone, you are indicating you are interested in them.

Totally disagree. Flirting is also a big portion in the eye of the beholder. Just being "friendly" is often misconstrued as flirting. The line blurs easily.

it all comes down to the context flirting vs. friendly, but this question wasn't about that. he didn't ask what you consider flirting? someone who decides to harmlessly flirt is obviously leading someone on consciously.
