Do you ever find someone attractive just by the way they carry themselves?

Obviously, looks are important..because they are what initially attract you to a person. But I mean . . have you ever at first found someone not so attractive ... but then the way they carry themselves just suddenly makes them HOT? lol. Like, today . . I met a guy on the subway & at first glance I didn't think he was that attractive . . average looking. But, then he started a conversation with me . . & just the way he talked, smiled, and I don't know just . . CARRIED HIMSELF suddenly made me think he was extremely attractive lol. I just find it so weird but yet so interesting how certain things about how a person carries themselves can make them appear more attractive.

Has this ever happened to anyone ? lol. Obviously you can say that the person's personality overpowers the way they look...but it was more than just his personality...just his gestures and everything lmao. I sound like I'm over analyzing the situation, but I'm serious.

Not really. The only first glance reaction I get is pure sexual attraction, like with yourself.

Aside form any extreme response, I typically don't judge a girl much on how she speaks carries her self, etc. At least if I do, its more of a conscious thought process that a subconscious one. I'm analyzing her purposely as opposed to having a reflex sexual response.

My inner dialog might sound something like "She's really bitchy to me, I would not want to date her, "she's really sweet and friendly, I would like to get to know her more,", "she's acting really masculine, that's not something I want". So its not like there is this explainable aura.

I think its a guy thing. We're very logical like that, at least I am. Almost every time I've fallen for a girl, while there was obviously some subconscious sexual attraction going on, I can tell you that just about every time, I could tell you exactly hat traits made me interested in them. Kind of like I had just hired a new job applicant and knew what parts of their resume I liked. Basically you don't get to be my Girlfriend unless you pass both the subconsciousness attractiveness test, and the conscious personal evaluation.

Yes, it's happened. I felt like that about one of the guys in my philosophy class. He isn't the best-looking when you first see him, but he was so well-articulated, confident, and insightful that it caught my attention right away. Just the way he speaks, I wouldn't mind talking to him all day lol. Yeah he's intelligent, lots of people in that class are, but he had a certain charm that was unique. It definitely made him much more attractive in my eyes.

a bomb ass personality makes you think "hey this guy is cool enough to kick it, I wanna hang with him! he should get to know me"

next thing you know you start falling for the way they talk, walk, treat you/the people around them, the little phrases they say --those little things about them haha

Confidence is sexy - happens all the time. Just as we can be attracted to an attractive person and later no later like them because of their personality (or lack there of), we can not be attracted to someone and later change that perception after we have gotten to know them and like their personality.

I totally understand what you're saying. It's called confidence! Mixed with charm or charisma or quite simply...SWAGGER. It's almost like a natural ability to make people gravitate towards you when talking to them but I think it can be learned as well. The most important things I learned is that you gotta a) dress well to be noticed. b) be calm, relaxed, and confident c) speak with conviction d) LISTEN. e) be witty. and d) most importantly...SMILE.

If you like good examples of these peeps, look no further than a-list celebs like Tom Hanks, RDJ, Will Smith, Michael Buble to name a few. Now those are hollywood charmers right there!

Actually the only girl I find truly attractive right now didn't even get my attention with her looks. I kind of looked right over her and didn't know she existed even though she's pretty, until she did a few key things that made me go hmmmmm. I haven't seen a girl like this in a long time. =) Yes, a girls personality is a huge factor in attraction...

Yup, definitely. I equally can get turned off a good looking person because of the way they carry themselves.

Charisma, humour and confidence go a long way. Guys get 10x more attractive when they have an attractive personality.

I'm ugly to get an girl/woman to look at me. And I walk and dress normal so and never start any trouble and are very polite in person.   But then again women like and want jerks, maybe I should start acting like one? BTW I tried showing the OP what I looked once she said no so that proves I'm ugly.

Yes some girls have a very confident and friendly demeanor that makes me want to know more about them. It isn't always in a romantic sense like I may just find them interesting in a friendly way.

Kinda like it was for me in Highschool all the girls wore uniforms so didn't find them attractive but outside of school and what they wore and how they carried themselves made me see that they were hot.

Swagger and or confidence of course is VERY attractive. Now if a female is repulsive the swagger factor means very little to me but I am happy for them.
