My girlfriend says we need to talk, could this be bad?

I have been dating my girlfriend for 3 months. We really hit it off. I have done nothing but be a good guy for her always there to help her.I would come over just to play with her son so she could sleep. I helped her find a job, sell her old car and buy another new not broken used car. No money out of my pocket. But yesterday we got into a fight. We were talking on the phone like we do when I'm out of work on her way to her house. I was asking about her new job I helped her get since it was her first day. Things were going well but she mentioned a story about getting fired. I went into my story and she got pissed off and hung up the phone on me because she says I wasn't listening and didn't care since I didn't ask about her story. When I went over there she gave me pretty much the silent treatment and short one word answers. She did hold my hand on the couch and give me light kisses but just wasn't into it. When I asked her why she wouldn't talk to me she started cursing at me under her breathe and I called her out on it. We got into a fight and I left. In hindsight I realized I should have just left and said I was leaving so she could get rest for work. This was after we finished dinner I cooked. When I got home I texted her I was sorry and explained myself. She said she wasn't breaking up but that we should take a break tomorrow (today). She texted me tonight afterlight texting today saying I could come over tomorrow "we need to talk". I guess I'm being paranoid she either wants a break or is breaking up with me. Any advice of what to except and how to bite my tounge if I need to?

We ended up breaking up. She got pissed off at me because I was asking about how her first day went at her new job I found for her and not inquiring about the story of her getting fired. Since I didn't ask more about her story she said I took no interest in her. That's bull, I helped her graduate college, sell a car and buy a new car, daycare for her son and a whole lot more. I was not a sucker spending money though.

The best advice is to try and be chill. LISTEN to what she is saying. Appear relaxed and calm- even if you don't feel it.

If you want her... I mean, if you really want her... when she is done, let her know that. Kiss her and (in as cool, calm and collected a way as you can muster) let her know in few words what she truly means to you.

If she simply wants some space- give it to her... even though that's hard.

In the end- your demeanor and your words (which ring with the truth of how you feel) will stick with her. Chances are she will be back.

...and if not (because that is always a possibility too, sorry to say) well... there are more girls. It may not seem evident in these moments, but there are always other girls in the world.

If you love and care about someone and are good to them... treat them well... and still they walk away...

... F*ck 'em- because they don't deserve you... or your sadness and pain. Walk on- and find someone who appreciates you for what you have to give.

She's not breaking up with you. She just need to talk about her future, her job or something related about your relationship.

Just because she wants to talk, it doesn't necessarily mean she's going to break up with you. She could talk about issues she's having in her own life or in the relationship. She could possibly be sensing there's something wrong with you and so wants to sit down and talk about it with you, in order to help you. So don't jump the gun and assume she's breaking up with you because it could be many things other than breaking up. Think positively!
