Should I ask him to see the fireworks with me?

There's this guy, and we're not officially a couple but we seem to be more than friends. I really like him and want to ask him to watch the fireworks with me on the 4th of July...is this too much if I'm not 100% sure how he feels about me? And if it's okay to ask him, any advice on how to do it casually and not make it super awkward? I usually don't initiate much but this guy is a bit on the shy/awkward side. Thanks!

Just go for it, you have nothing to lose. Things to awkward if you make it awkward. Get out of your comfort zone and try something new(iniate) :) I am sure he will not turn you down.
