Is it possible to fall in love with someone you've never talked to?

I've had a crush on this guy for almost three years. At first I just thought he was kinda cute. But my feelings for him just became stronger and stronger. I made the mistake to tell my best guy friend, who obviously can't keep secrets, so my crush found out about it the next day. This was about a year ago, and now I'm starting to feel real, like, feelings. I've barely even talked to the guy, and before he found out that I had a crush on him, he probably didn't even know about my existence.

Every time I see him I can't keep myself from smiling, and I just kinda wanna be near him all the time, and I just see his adorable smile when I close my eyes... It's like a goddamn curse.

But can I call it 'love' even though I've never spoken to him?

At the moment you are just in love with what you see but because you haven't actually engaged in a conversation with him you don't know how he is really like and what his personality is. You have to talk to him to either stand a chance to actually date him or to get over him.

Do not look at him at all. I know this will be difficult since you go to the same school as him but it has to be done. You probley know where he is and isn't most often. Try to stay away from the places he goes. Don't talk about him ever. And every time you think of him to start thinking of something else. I been in you shoes before in middle school. It was just as long but I did the same things I told you to do. And they worked. You just have to keep at it. You will feel better when its all said & don

But before you do all that I think you should tell him you have a crush on him. Somehow online maybe or in person whatever helps. I think in order to get over him you need to first know if there is for sure no chance because it might be hard trying to do it when all your thinking is what if. Its still possible to do. I also want to add to what ELlaDavies said you don't know anything about him. Other then he's hot to you. If you tried talking to him and telling him you like him and he's a jerk or just declines it will definitely be easier to move on. It will hurt and you will realize you were only in love with the person you wanted him to be. If he's nice and he wants to get to know you then you can turn this obsession into love but this can make you stupid make sure you bring your brain with u
