You're only fascinated by lust. It's impossible to fall in love with someone you've never spoken to before. Lust and love are two different things. When you first see a person you ultimately make a decision if their attractive or not. You find him physically attractive, but I think you're getting the two mixed up. You don't even know him nor what he's about, he could be a sociopath for all you know. You may get to know him and decide you may not even like this person depending on his personality. Personality plays a huge part.
Sounds like a crush to me. Go get to know him so you don't put his butt on a pedestal and set yourself up for pain when he doesn't fit your expectations.

This happened to me once. I was into a girl for 2 years without speaking to her. Met her finally, LOST interest within 2 hours.
