Define what the attractive scale is to you?

I know you shouldn't do rate scales blah blah, but humor me.

I never really got what the general idea of the scale is.

From a 1-10, obviously 10 is super attractive and one is bad. What number is considered average looking, above average, ugly, number you settle for, etc?

I hate the scale and don't use it but just for laughs, why not. Not to be taken seriously, this is based off of looks so even if I saw a 10 and revealed her personality to be bad, I wouldn't even consider. That being said, lets have some fun.

9-10, Gorgeous, stunning facial features and a fit body with nice curves, its what I find attractive. Hard to look away from, hard not to notice, lights up the room.

7-8 Very Beautiful, noticeable. Takes care of herself still above average and noticeable. Will glance at occasionally.

5-6 Average, may have some cute features possibly but doesn't take care of herself as well.
1-4 Below Average, really doesn't take care of herself, let herself go. Doesn't really care about much about anything.

I really don't have one. I don't rate people by numbers. I just know if I really like someone, f I really find them physically attractive, if theyre just okay, and if I'm not attracted to them at all, but that's not the same thing as them not being conventionally attractive or a good looking person. So I don't really care what other people would be attractive or conventional standards. A lot of people considered hot look just "eh" to me as far as being attracted TO them goes (even if I can acknowledge that they are very good looking), it depends on the person and their features and my preferences...

And rarely call people ugly, personally, even if I'm not attracted to them. But that's just me being me.

9 - super hot (you cannot stop looking at them in the subway because you are going "wow. really? wow.")

8 - attractive ( I think this s about where the cut off happens for) (people you notice in public places and want to look back at).

7 - appealing versions of average

6 - more average versions of average

5 - you don't exist... sorry... you aren't ugly or attractive enough for people to notice you

4 - unattractive but close enough to normal that you probably also don't notice them.

3-1 - disasters (like the people you can't stop staring at because you almost can't believe they really look like that)

6 - average (meaning neither bad nor good)

7 - datable, even level

8 - pretty

9 - hot

10 - Perfect tall man, brown hair, dark eyes, tanned, nice ass, muscular legs, arms, perfect smile, white teeth, and no tattoos all natural.

7 - Average not that tall, blonde, blue eyes, lighter skin tone, skinnier or more fat, yellow teeth.

5 and below is ugly in my opinion. I also gave some examples above keep in mind that's not all but just to get an idea (again just my preferences and tastes in men).

A number could never describe the way I feel about a person. People are so much more than that and each person will come off differently, in my opinion.

Someone could be super attractive physically but have a sickening personality and I'll hate them..

Where as, someone else could be less attractive but have the best personality and in that case, I might want them.

For me I'd probably say a seven is average since I'm just such a nice guy and think most women are attractive. If I do have a scale it's so not a symmetric gauss curve.

That chart is really interesting! Although a few of the pictures seem out of place, and the descriptions sound less than scientific. It would be interesting to see one for both sexes, that reflects results from a bunch of surveys or something!
