Is it considered unattractive to chew gum?

I chew gum almost every time except at school (it's against their rule). I heard there are lots of benefits of chewing gum like fresh breath, improves jawline, increases concentration and alertness etc.

Doesn't matter much to me. HOWEVER my first tinder date we decided to go out to dinner and she was so nervous she forgot to spit out her gum and chewed it WHILE eating her food. I called her out since I though it was odd and got real awkward real quick.
