I had a friend from Georgia that used to take me to this Turkish coffee house, and get me the type boiled with sugar... Don't remember what the different styles are called but nice woodsy flavor much better tasting than American coffee, but such a caffeine buzz!

in Bosnia people call it turska kafa, what is obviously means Turkish. but as you might know there are many muslims.
but, exactly cos that, in serbia it's called "country's coffee" (as national).

Actually i want to ask you a question. What do most of serbian people think about turks? Unfortunately i have seen some racist comments about turks written by serbians here so i thought serbia as a country in which people hate us turks. I want to know, if i am wrong.

People don't hate serbians here but they don't love them too. Actually most of people don't mind them. It seems we are more important for most of serbians. That is a good thing lol.

You know, it's ok, but I don't like all those coffee grounds at the bottom. I want to drink my entire cup of coffee and having all those grounds at the bottom makes the end of the drink really, really unpalatable.

Us turks like drinking turkish coffee with turkish delight. It is like a tradition but everyone has different tastes. Of course you don't have to eat anything with turkish coffee but you must drink a glass of water, if you drink turkish coffee. We always drink water with it because it is a heavy coffee but if you drink water with it, you digest it easier. It is healthier.

sorry but you can't make it with cream or milk. if you use them as ingredients in it, the turkish coffee won't be a turkish coffee anymore.

It isn't sour or bitter when made correctly. If you scorch it, it will become bitter and harsh

I also add cardamom. It's important you bring it to the point of almost boiling on the stove and then take it off for a sec so it doesn't actually boil. If it boils and scorches it won't be as good
