Yay or Nay?
If you're a vegetarian/vegan, is it okay for you to consume insect?
Yes I definetly would! I've seen these types of bars at my grocery store called cricket bars, and they have crickets in them as a source of protein, so thats kinda a similiar idea as insect bread?
Unfortunately, my stomach doesn't react well to unfamiliar foods or foods that I dont eat normally. as an example, I have mushrooms and scallops, and when ever I try to force myself to eat them, I always feel like im gonna throw up when trying to eat them, so im not sure how well I'd do with insect bread, but If I ever see this in stores or get the opportunity, im definetly going to try it.
say what? :) If I understand what is in food these days, we are already eating massive amounts of them, we just don't know it.
Right. I just found that a person eats them a pound per year. Even if in oregano.

Exactly, although I didn't know those details... ugh, I think I'll just drink water..:). I eat quite a few bugs every year on bike rides, they really don't taste good though.
no wonder so many people have allergies... stuff from all over the planet ends up in their... yea... who knows what is in those "Vitmain" capsules people take. I'll bet $ it isn't what they think it is. "Natural and artificial flavors... lol. You are much better off crunching on a tasty grasshopper... athough, I won't be anytime soon:)
hummm... wait... grasshopper Pad Thai sounds interesting...
Haha. Right. Mostly, we accidentially eat them. (Wondering since when we're okay with pesticide rather than natural insects in veggies?)
I'm not fond of street fried insects locally. It's greasy and smells too much. And after watching documentaries of parasites in them, I'm still not really open-minded.
Anyways, Padthai is popular for foreigners. The most authentic Thai dish is Krapro.
Uhm, no, unless it's for survival of course.

I have tried roasted insects before - it's a local thing.
I wasn't impressed. But as a source of protein - as in this bread sample - I may like it.
But then: I also can eat eggs?
Uh no. I know in some parts of the world that's normal diet. And there's a reason i don't live there. Lol
😂😂😂
Its a very good idea to eat bugs, excellent protein source and sustainable. As humans get more numerous we will need cheaper protein sources
I guess it would be sustainable but I don't think it's vegan
I'll try anything once ! Twice if I liked the first time !
No thanks. Seems too extra for no good reason.
The idea isn't appealing.
Eh... I think I'll pass 👌
Is it yummy? 😗
Certainly.
I think you got something in your teeth. 😗
Oh. That's my gum. 😉
😂😂
people eat too much protein
How? Please elaborate.
You should only eat exactly as much protein as you need. The modern diet is meat obsessed, eating meat multiple times a day, it's nuts. Protein is hard on the system, if you eat too much, you are actually wearing yourself out for no reason. Protein is for cell repair, so use it accordingly.
Sure. I need protein because I workout (20 g. per meal). I do weight training too. Many of my friends and co-workers are vegetarians (and more people go vegan.) I'm thinking about an alternative for the environment and health.
Hell to the no
