When eating cereal, do you pour in the cereal first, or the water?

Personally I pour the water into the bowl first, then the cereal. How about you?

Cereal first, always. I have kind of a funny story about this. No one asked, but I’m gonna tell it anyways.

There was one time when we’d run out of milk at my house, and I didn’t realize when I went and made myself a bowl of cereal. I went to go grab the milk from the fridge after and that was when I noticed we didn’t have any. Now, I probably could’ve just poured the cereal back into the box and waited until we got more milk to have some, but this particular day I was really impatient and cranky and all I wanted was a bowl of Cocoa Pebbles, desperately. So, naturally, I tried pouring water in my bowl instead.

Literally the worst mistake I’ve ever made in my life. Cereal with water is completely foul. I tried one spoonful of it, and I gagged and ended up throwing all of it away because no way in hell was I going to put something so disgusting in my mouth again. I’m really uh, not sure what else I was expecting to be completely honest.. lol, lesson learned though.

What‽ With  WATER‽  W. T. F.‽ I'm not sure even the impoverished do that. My sequence is milk (in my case 'almond milk') 1st, cereal 2nd… unless the milk ran-out and needed re-filling. There are cases of me having to re-fill 1 thing after the other, especially if the cereal is really good.

None of the above: Why are you putting water on Cereal? I cannot do Dairy, or Soy. Oat and Coconut are to distinct. But Silk Almond Original is quite similar to Dairy and other than fat content, I find it to be a great alternative. My only reason for having it, Cereal.

I never heard of cereal with water. Is that a vegan thing or something? I use milk or yogurt usually. And typically I put the cereal first if it's milk, or after if it's yogurt. That said, I'm a drinker and get really drunk sometimes, so I'll get the order all mixed up from time to time.

Cereal then milk. Because it's easier ro guage the right amount of milk. Tou don't want a bowl of cereal milk aftwr your done with the cereal. So i put in rhe cereal then pour the milk over it. This allows you to get all the cereal wet without mixing it. And i stop as soon as i first start seeing the milk pooling.
This probably sounded OCD as hell right. Hey what can i say i got a cereal system. Lol

I usually but the cereal first, then the cold beer. Like this I can measure better the amount of cereal I'm eating and since the beer is cold they don't get soggy anyways
