I'll do you one better. I was attempting to make shawarma chicken in the oven in a DIY spit that you can make out of a kebab stick and an onion, but since I didn't have a wood one, I used a metal one...on a glass baking pan. Well an hour later after this whole thing was done that small piece of metal heated up in the apparent fires of hell cracked the glass pan and when I went to lift it, it exploded all over the oven, the door, the floor, my feet...and big hot chunks of glass. Luckily! I was wearing shoes. It was awful. I was cleaning up shards for 2 days and there is still a bit of the oven with a dent from where a chunk fell and it half fused to the oven.
Thanks for MHO.
Yes sadly I have and I do 100% agree it is the WORST!!

Long ago, I cooked a big meal for a family gathering in my old house. I placed almost everything I prepared on a cart so that I'l just roll 'em altogether to the dinning room. There were kids (not mine) running all over my house. Despite asking their parents nicely to encourage them to play outside or stay calm, those boisterous kids just didn't stop. Eventually, a couple of them ran straight onto the food cart which sent all the food flying and splattering on me, several other guests and a large floor area. The quarrels that ensued afterwards made the night go from worse to worst. That was a terrible night.
Awwww I'm sorry!
Once I made rice crispy treats and somehow the pot started spurting so I rushed to scoop it into a glass baking dish. In my hurry, I dropped the baking dish, which shattered, and sent an oozing rice crispy mess everywhere.
Aww not funnel cake!
My soufflé... I was so looking forward to eating it but it had to fall down while I was trying to get it out of the oven. Some soufflé cups were also broken, it was such a mess, chocolate and glass shreds everywhere
No, that's never happened to me! Thank goodness. I would be devastated. And hungry lol. I'll take this post as a warning to always be extra-careful while I'm cooking something, so I don't drop anything.
There was one time I dropped an apple pie I made.. It landed on the bottom of the pie pan, but it was all cracked looking. I was so embarrassed to serve it
Not a hour but i tripped on a toy my kids left and dropped 14 t bone steaks i cookird at a barbeque
Awww. Look at the cat.
What was it?
Not that I recall.
My mum once threw a Christmas chocolate yule log down our ravine. (Cause the 'log' cracked' and wasn't aesthetically pleasing.)
@AmandaYVR What a waste! ðŸ˜
@Jamie05rhs Tell me about it. She's not very 'zen' in the kitchen. It means a lot to her. Her standards are too high. It's extremely difficult to cook for her too. When I visited her to take care of her while her man was out of town for a few days, she would barely eat anything I cooked.
I have burned a meal I spent time making
and also I have overcooked Chicken and
just realize it only takes 40-45 minutes on
450 to bake Chicken
Yes and then I cry for the whole day... I hate making mistakes 😭🥺🎀
It never took hrs to make. supper still ended up on the floor though.
This immediately popped to mind.
No, but I've had a freshly prepared meal eaten by the dog.
My friend Michelle did once and she's never making cheesecake from scratch again.
Not very, not want to drop it after spent hours making it
