Do Americans drink pints of beer or bottles of beer?

Depends on if they're at a bar or at home. At home most drink out of bottles because not many have home taps. In bars, usually pints, though they don't usually call them that. Unless it's a small bar with few taps, then it would be mostly bottles. But I usually got to microbreweries when I go to a bar so definitely pints.

Both... although we don't usually say "pint". Instead, we get whatever mug they give us which may not be a pint, but, typically 12 oz = 3/4 of a pint.

You know in pop culture I don’t think I’ve ever heard an American order a pint of beer, they just ask for a beer either generically, or specifically by brand. I have heard of them as for a bottle, as well as a can, but pint... that seems to be more a British thing.

Assuming Bottles outside the bar and pints within tthe bar. I dont drink so i wouldn't know for sure

I see people drink out of bottles and cans mostly. Its easier to throw them out than clean a glass i guess but we do have beer on tap too at bars so you can a glass but you are lucky if you get a pint. They are usually smaller.
