Why do people complain that their cultures dishes aren't being correctly if they dont know how to cook?

---First of all, American rice doesn't haven't to be rinsed before cooking, it's actually a bad idea to do it because its already rinsed, and distributors add vitamins to the rice that can be washed away. If you're using Asian rice it's a different story. She cooked it in a similar way a slow cooker would. Not the way i'd do it, but its not the end of the world, this tv show is for people who need a meal on the fly. Second, she could be cooling off the rice with the water, to prevent the rice from overcooking. I typically lay on a cooling rack but what she did isn't a terrible idea if she's just making a quick meal. the eggs were cooked fine, she displayed basic understand of knife skills and she seemed to know what she was talking about. last, non stick pans like carbon steel can be scraped with silverware.-----

the rice turned out fine, and i could tell she has knowledge based on how the rice came out, and the eggs came out good too. Those two signs tell me she is knowledgeable to some extent. Of course its just comedy and this youtuber is just being funny.
