If so, what is one dish that you are proud of?

If I had to pick one meal that enjoy making from scratch it would have to be rotisserie chicken, dinner rolls, garlic mashed potatoes, balsamic glazed shallots and green beans with a fresh garden salad. Always a crowd pleaser!

Yes I do a really great pheasant dish.

first get shotgun, then find brace of pheasants.

Then depending on how you like have the next day or hang for a couple more days.

then do the pheasant Pluckers song.

next up its Pheasant with mushroom and white wine sauce.

I also do a pretty good venison one as well.

Oh that sounds amazing. I love wild bird. We have pheasant and grouse here. Upland bird is my favorite!

Yeah it’s nice going on a shoot and then eating it.

Although I did once offer a friend some pheasant / grouse and when I brought it in to work, he was ‘it’s got feathers on it’ (I had shot that morning lol), it’s like damn I should have went for nudist pheasants

Probably... I just don't often. I once made a peach cobbler on a whim and it turned out pretty decent despite our peaches being overripe and a bit soggy. I think baking is a little more fun than cooking.

I want to cook something with the dove I hunted up a couple weeks ago but I'm not sure what yet... I see pheasant mentioned elsewhere, and I can't say I prefer it over chicken.

Following a recipe isn't all that hard, but there are certain things where experience with the dish helps, so I guess that's where I'd struggle.

But I do grow some veggies and herbs.
My (appreciated) specialties are stew-like dishes and braised mixed vegetables (with fried rice).

Yes, smoked meat is one of my favorites, but I cook a lot of different food and prefer it as natural as possible
