Yep, I enjoy cooking good food and am pretty good at it. I do most of the cooking because my wife doesn't like to cook and sucks at it. She's getting better but I would just rather do the cooking so we eat good food. She does more of the shopping and the dishes so it's ok.

Why do so few women my age know how to cook these days? Is it because they see it as a demeaning gender role? Honestly I think women have diminished their value by turning their backs on cooking?

I've been cooking for 57 years. I can cook a Thanksgiving meal for 20 people, without any assistance, and with everything being homemade or "from scratch."

I usually do stir frying veggies with rice. My Dad and brother like it. My brother puts so much hot sauce makes me think what the heck.
