Do you use M. S. G?

I never used that but then I thought of making Shu Mai Dumplings the authentic way and it is required to use that so i bought a small shaker of it. It does made it taste way better like the real deal. Since I had some left, I decided to use it on other dishes i made and it made it taste way better. Tho i still don't wanna depend on it despite knowing it's safer than you think. .

Don't get addicted. I wouldn't be using it too often. "message has been linked with obesity, metabolic disorders, Chinese Restaurant Syndrome, neurotoxic effects and detrimental effects on the reproductive organs."

Although, Chinese Restaurant Syndrome aka message symptom complex can be ignored because it has never been proven to really be caused by message and may just be a rare allergic reaction first seen in 1968.

I've seen it in Asian supermarkets and always wondered why because it's something I associate with processed food rather than home cooking.

I've never personally used it. But I don't have issues with those thst do. All it really does is enhance the flavors that are already there.

Not typically. I do have a couple of flavored salts that DO a have a touch of message in them.  But I do not keep a bottle of Accent in the cabinet.
