Pie is a strange animal. There are only a few that are great: pumpkin, pecan, apple, key lime, lemon meringue. Add whipped cream to any of those and you have a rich treat.

Peach needs to be cobbler. Too soupy otherwise. Blueberry, and any berry for that matter, have the same issue as peaches do. Soupy messes.

Whatever's IN the pie has to jell enough inside the crust so that when you cut it, the inside STAYS inside. Otherwise, make it a cobbler.

Most great pies are fruit pies, with pumpkin, pecan and sweet potato being exceptions. Pecan is very odd because of the jelly that fills the pie.. I have no idea WHAT it's flavored with. It's the topping that is pecan crust... Again, that strange animal.

Two of the most popular pies are from citrus: lemon and limes. And yet, there's no ORANGE pie, grapefruit pie, kiwi pie, mango or other tropical fruit pie. I'd think some of those tart/sweet flavors would work well. It's up to you out there who love those fruit!

I have no pie plans, myself. Both pies and cakes, to me, are for special occasions such as Fourth of July, Thanksgiving and Christmas and birthdays, though most folk get cake for birthdays, a b-day pie seems just as special.

@EmmaMary When my kids were little they used to leave their bikes in my garage bay so when I got home I had to get out of my truck and move them before I could pull into the garage. I could have got mad about it but I realized that someday I would miss it. Now that they are all grown and gone I see that I was right.
