Is it some sort of culture crime to eat KFC with a knife and fork?

I visited my brother and he got the family meal deal from KFC. So I got a plate and loaded it up with some chicken, fries and coleslaw. I sat down at the table to have a feed and he took a photo of me eating and posted it on facebook.

I might as well grow a little moustache and change my name to Hitler after hate I received in the comments just for eating it with a knife and fork.

Am I supposed to eat coleslaw with my hands? What's the deal?

I'm not exactly a regular KFC eater, so I don't understand KFC eating etiquette.

Okay thats not wrong id say... but i get where they're coming from... its like yk u have those yummy pieces n u just grab in hand n give it big bite... so to them it seems not cool or unfair when ure dealing w kfc or maybe any meat piece.

Personally i prefer eating w my right hand unless its something like noodles or soup obviously

I had a KFC last night actually, and I used a knife and fork and my hands. So best of both worlds, I certainly don’t think it’s a crime to use a knife and fork. It keeps your hands from getting greasy.

It's not a big deal, it's just unusual to see people eating with knife and fork at a fast-food place like KFC. As long as you use utensils to eat coleslaw, it's definitely not a crime, but you can use your hands to eat the chicken.

Yeah I do the same thing with chicken, I just pick at it with a fork no knife though and my stepdad makes fun of me eating it that way
