How do you enjoy your laverbread?

Laverbread is one of the U. K's greatest culinary creations and exports. We eat it by the bucket load and I'm sure most of you have a jar of green gold in your fridge. There's many ways of enjoying this delicious delicacy but how do you eat yours?

Straight from the pot

Spread on toast

On toast with cockles

Mixed with oats

A big dollop on my breakfast plate

To no one's surprise I needed to look up what it is :)
Looks and sounds VERY interesting.
Here-abouts seaweed only is processed into a relatively boring dried snack.
Is onle WELSH seaweed good for that, or would you say that a tropic variety works as well?

Laverbread is the same seaweed that's used for sushi and a lot of dry seaweed snacks.

It doesn't look at all appetizing. When I was a young man in CA (I have since fled the state) there was a huge push for people to eat kelp, which is a sort of seaweed. In some countries kelp is popularly known as sea cabbage, but no one in the States would eat it. What was harvested was exported to China, Japan, and Korea.

Wales but you can buy it in most English supermarket and fishmongers. I think a lot of Asian stores stock it too
