Does anyone else enjoy writing?

To a degree, if there's a purpose. What I hate is this fucking keyboard that either constantly types double letters when I was singles or singles when I want doubles, refuses to capitalize when I want to and tosses in all kinds of shit I never typed!! It might take my 5:00 to type a couple paragraphs and another 5 or 10 to correct all the mistakes!! Just in this first paragraph, I had to correct over a dozen mistakes!! And 5 in just that sentence!!

I have three going. I thought they would each be stand alone, but with the angles they are taking I might be able to merge them into one after all. Still deciding. Maybe if I make a series it will work better.

Seem like no matter which keyboard I use (except on my laptops), I have some of the same problems. The left shift key almost NEVER works unless I pound the shit out of it!!

The next Harry Potter! Two of mine are pretty much reference books, the other is going to be more of an autobiography. I was in a band for 25 years and I've had a number of people tell me my life would make a good story or movie. We'll see. I kinda have it started but, I've been so busy with recording projects of various sorts, I just haven't had the chance to do much with it. Mostly, it was gonna be a story about the history of the band but, I heard Peter Criss's book a few months ago and figured I should probably expand mine to include my life, too, especially since so much of my life story is GONNA be in the band story, anyway.

I was HOPING to all KINDS of stuff to it! Pictures, images from, our press kits and loads of posters, clippings from newspaper interviews, pictures of the various t-shirts we had, the album covers, etc. but, thanks to my greedy ex-sisters, all that is gone,. now!! About all I've got left is one stack of the album covers from our first album and a stack of tickets from a show we did back in the early `80's!!
Luckily, I DO have lots of unreleased recordings!!
Thank you!! Maybe I can get into it, soon. I kinda started it years ago but, while trying to find money to live on and then losing my house, I just haven't had the chance to do anything with it! Now, there's a chance I'm gonna lose THIS house, too!!

Once I get going on a subject, I do seem to enjoy writing, but then I attempt to wordsmith the hell out of what I've written.

I wrote a short story some years ago that revealed the details of my favorite type of day.

I'm still not totally happy with it, but those who I reveal it to regard it as being beautiful.

Maybe someday I'll get it to the point that I can find no fault with it.

I would like to finish the drafts/stubs that I have of several movie scripts and one TV series. Of course these have only a snowball's chance in hell to be put into production, but still it would feel like a successful milestone to finally have them completed.

What sort of things do you create?

Nothing yet published. I was a speechwriter in a former career so at that point that was a lot of my writing. Also wrote all of my boss' writing... letters, emails, thoughts, etc.

Non-professionally, some op-ed pieces (non of which got published), and some other short stories. Have three books in work, only one of them a serious project. And recently worked on a short piece of erotica with a very wise guru who was kind enough to give me advice.

So, I write, but I'm not sure I've yet earned the title of writer. But your question was whether I enjoy writing and the answer is a resounding yes.

I like creating longer stories myself, but there are some I’ve worked on since young. Still continue to add to them from time to time when something comes to me.

I do have three good stories which have promise at the moment. One is a pretty decent crime/thriller.

Me! Ell oh ell!
If i was writing, it was inspired by something i experienced. Mostly prose, but a bit of poetry. I recently decided to try my hand at fan fiction, but i haven’t even done an outline yet. The idea is to write improvements to the last few “Halloween” movies. If you want something done right, you gotta do it yourself! Ha!
