Both are good, depends on what it is with. Fine dining chinese food, I like hot Jasmine spice or so to go with it. Summer time in the fields or out somewhere, ice tea is better.

I like either room temperature tea or lukewarm tea so I will heat it up with a boiler and then add ice cubes If I don’t want to wait for it to cool down.

Having lived in Hong Kong for a time I was introduce to Iced Lemon Tea (Dong Ling Tcha) and also Hot Lemon Tea (Yit Ling Tcha) and that got me into tea in a bigger way than I anticipated. There is a wonderful tea museum on HK Island where you can learn the history and taste test the different teas as well as learn how it had been cultivated and served in China.
