HELP- Can you keep frozen food refrigerated in the fridge or will it go bad?

The reason why I’m asking is due to me not having my mini fridge yet. So I don’t have a freezer yet only a tiny cooler fridge. I want hashrowns eat all next week but they come frozen and is it okay leave them in the fridge and cook them on my mini griddle or microwave? Will they spoil if they aren’t frozen?

Frozen food needs to be kept frozen. If it thaws, it should be cooked within 24 hours. Of course, after cooking it, the "leftovers" typically will keep in the fridge for 3-4 days.

Your best bet is to cook the hashbrowns on the grill, then store them in the fridge and heat up the amount you want each day in the microwave or grill... for no more than the next 4 days.

All you have to do is store them in the fridge for when you're ready to have some hash browns for breakfast! They should keep in the fridge for 3-5 days before becoming questionable

I would cook them, then refrigerate them. Then reheat to eat them. They could probably be okay for 5-7 days. Might not taste as good at the end of the week though.

Can u cook hasbrowns in the microwave? Like hasbrown patty?

Yes. Some come with micro instructions on the side. Tastier in a pan though.

I’m still in the process of building my kitchen so next month I’ll get my fridge and air fryer. Rn I need use microwave. I have a mini griddle tho

That I wouldn’t know. I remember you run them twice. First is half power. The second is full. It’s been so long. If it’s one try 40-60 seconds half power and keep checking through another min full.

You'll get sometime out of them in the fridge, a week or two give or take... just use them before that time.

You might want to consider cooking them, then storing as left overs you can reheat. I've done that with frozen hashbrowns and they lasted over a week.

NOPE.. don't do it. You'll end up with food poisoning if it has defrosted more than 24 hours.. (I wouldn't eat anything outside of 12 though)

I wouldn't. I would sooner go every day and buy what I wanted until I got a freezer. even though I realise it's a huge pain to do so.

I know you've probably already thought about all of this, I just urge you to be careful with foods that are meant to be frozen. I read online it is safe when stored in a fridge you can use still after 3 4 or even 5 days, but you run a HUGE risk of poisoning yourself.

They will spoil but if you keep them refrigerated they should be good for a week or so before they go bad.

Frozen pre-cooked hash browns have a fridge life of about 3 days before you ought not to eat them.

They will likely go soggy and not be very nice. They are meant to be cooked from frozen

Try cooking them all crispy then store them in the refrigerator. Then take one or two out and pop them in the microwave

Not immediately. They are like any other refrigerated food. Eventually they will become moldy.

yeah, they'll last in the fridge for a while. it'd take a few days to fully defrost and then you'll have a week or so before they start to go bad.

They will thaw once they're in the fridge and you should use them within a week. Don't refreeze after thawing.
