Is it ok to put frozen cooked chicken nuggets in the fridge for a couple of hours then use after?

Even though the package says keep frozen. What will happen? Safe to eat or discard?

That shouldn't be a problem. Just be sure to warm them up thoroughly, internal temperature at least 140F.

Safe. The reason they say keep frozen is because they can't be unfrozen for a long period of time.

But a couple of hours in the fridge is perfectly fine

Wools I thought I read freezer.. um. Keeping them cold always preserves any food much longer though.. the freezer gives it a much longer shelf life!

Usually you're supposed to put them in the oven still frozen.

You still should cook them; but defrosting in the fridge is okay.

Yes you can definitely do that and they'll be fine just don't leave him out all night by mistake lol
