Which British dessert is the greatest?

Sometimes, after a British meal you don't feel your arteries are fully clogged up. There's nothing else for it but to order dessert.
Following on from my other question I thought it's time to ask which British dessert is the best and worse. Yes, I know they've missed some of the best ones off, like fruit crumble, apple pie, and ice cream, but let's keep to list.

Apple crumble with some cinnamon (or similar) and custard.

Eves Pudding,

Old English Apple Hat.

Pear Charlotte

Apple and Plum cobbler.

Oh, man, I haven't tried most of these.

I have tried Welsh cakes and friggin loved them, though. Maybe this summer I'll try to find recipes for the other ones.

Hot crossed buns are the best thing to be born out of or at least have a connection with, religion.

But thats more something to have with afternoon tea than pudding to me.

My favorite dessert is hot summer fruits strudel with cold custard but those might be German and French respectively, though assigning any of these things to a particular country might be a nonsense as it seems like everyone everywhere has been making that stuff for centuries.

Really don't eat deserts but once in a while a bread and bytter pudding made with bruschetta is lovely, when I make it for my guest I'll have a little bit.

I have to admit that, when I've been in England, few of the desserts pleased my palate. The best was probably Sticky Toffee Pudding. When I had dessert, it was most often a gateau (cake) slice.
